Power Plant: Continental A-65

16 July 2010 My son Adam and two of his friends drove to Florida and picked up my A65 engine. It looks great. Hours: 0.0
April 2021 Mike Owens came over and was a big help getting my engine lifted on and mounted for its first test fit. It fit the first time and very exactly.Hours: 1.0

Exhaust pipes

I started with a brand new exhaust system for a Taylorcraft however it did not fit the engine mount so I had to modify slightly. I would cut one side of back of the exhaust, heat in the middle and bend it a few inches. I did the same to the other side until I had the clearances I wanted all around. I welded the respective sides each time (the starboard side I had to do twice).
