23 Apr 2009 Started the elevators, cutting the forward and aft spars. Routed front and aft sparsHours: 1.024 Apr 2009 Cut the side pieces and scribed lines to trim off for the tapper from front to aft (I believe it was 1" down to 3/4").Hours: 1.025 Apr - 12 May 2009 Cut the rest of the elevator pieces and glued together. On 12 May, glued the last corner gussets. Just have cap strip pieces to go. These elevators took a lot of extra time and patience.Hours: 15.014-22 May 2009 Cut the cap strips, one side at a time, gluing right after. Removed from jig, they came out pretty nice. Will hold final sanding and rounding edges until later when all pieces are together.Hours: 4.0

14 Mar 2009 Started the elevator control horns, transfered the outlines to the .032 steel plate.Hours: 0
